During the last 9 years there is a main championship known as COPA CANELA. this championship has been increasing espectators, this national championship is the top in Ecuador. This championship is jus for «COLOCADORES» it means they can not be «ganchadores» in this championship you can see and know the best players fro all over the country. Before the «CAMPEONATO NACIONAL COPA CANELA» there were another championship, this championship was organized by APDP, ‘ASOCOACION DE PERIODISTAS DEPORTIVOS DE PICHINCHA». This championship was of «Ganchadores» here you can see a video of the 8th championship in 2005.

In the las weekends there was a new Championship called «THE KING IS BACK» with just 6 teams this championship was for «GACHADORES» This is the link in order to watch the last match.
